PlantParents — E-Commerce Platform
An end-to-end marketplace for discovering plants, shopping from local nurseries, and booking plant-care experts.

My roleProduct Designer
TimelineEnd-to-end
- The problem
- Buying plants online is easy. Keeping them alive isn’t.
- What I did
- An end-to-end marketplace: same-day delivery from local nurseries plus bookable plant-care experts — research, personas, IA, responsive hi-fi UI.
- Takeaway
- People don’t just want a product, they want reassurance and a feeling of success.
- Impact it created
- Reframed a plant shop into a plant-care service: same-day delivery from nearby nurseries, plus a local plant expert who can be booked for a home visit. Taken end to end, from research and personas through IA to responsive high-fidelity UI.
Buying plants online has become easy. Keeping them alive hasn't. People bring greenery home, then panic the moment a leaf starts yellowing — they Google it, call their parents, or quietly give up. Plenty of platforms sell plants, pots and tools, and stop right there.
